The Saints slough of a season is over and with it our half decade of excruciating pain. We say bye bye to Brees (and hopefully to Jared Cook) and welcome in a new era of Saints devastation. The Pelicans road trip is going as expected with glimmers of hope from Kira, NAW and Jax. We've got a stingray on broad, the mayor welcoming tourists for Mardi Gras, an oddly scented candle, and much, much more.

Jan 13th 2021 - Is the Gruel Vegan?

The Saints manage to overcome the worst team in NFL playoff history with some stellar (against the Bears at least) defense, and an offense that’s still figuring it out...all the while Special Teams is eating glue in the back of class. Should we mention the Pelicans? A brutal series of losses going into an even more brutal road trip does not bode well. All the usual segments starring King Cakes, celebrity chefs, Kush’s favorite target, and a toothless mob of goons. It’s all here!

Jan 6th 2021 - Distracted by Krispy Krunchy

It’s playoff time for the Saints, as we prep for what could be the last Brees-led wildcard round we’ll ever see. We’ll talk about what to expect, who to see, and if there’s anything to gain from the trouncing of Carolina. The Pelicans fall in one of the most brutal losses in franchise history and who’s to blame? Don’t worry, we’re ready to point fingers. Kush loses his mind over a common car component, Polk burns his tongue and his hand, and so much more.

Episode 31 - See You Next Year!

The Polk & Kush team doesn’t take holidays off! We’re here with a rapid-fire episode questioning the Pelicans decent start (this was recorded before the Suns game!) and the Saints Christmas match up against the Vikings. Kamara has the touchdown record regardless of the very old record books, NFL playoff seeding mathematics makes us roll our eyes, and Jaxson Hayes might be taking a trip to the G-league. We breakdown New Year's resolutions and partying, as well as pretending to rob banks and the trusty ol’ food pyramid. Fun, quick, and easy -- give it a listen!

Episode 30 - Name That Receiver!

A potential Super Bowl preview may not have gone the Saints way, but there’s still plenty to look forward to with a recovering Brees who hopefully won’t be throwing to plumbers and UPS guys for the rest of the season. The Pelicans look sharp in the pre-season (as they normally do) but the pieces seemed lined up for a fun (and hopefully) successful season. Tulane drops a hot potato, the Atlanta Falcons have to hang it up, and a looming Christmas holiday season and some toilet wine dominate our segments.

Episode 26 - Threat Level: TJ Maxx

Another week, another jam-packed episode as the boys are coming off their live debut and more importantly, a crucial Saints win. Does the Taysom Time experiment prove Sean is one of the all-time tricky geniuses, or did the Saints luck out starting this endeavor against a fledgling Falcons squad? We're more optimistic than you think. We also welcome Steven Adams to the Pels, lament a brutal Tulane loss, and revel in the simple joy of a neighborhood mini-mart with Icees.

Episode 25 - Breaking Ribs and Eating W's

Brees got hit by a dump truck and managed to keep standing and scoring, but now the Saints must carry on with Taysom Time or the Season of the Winston. Jrue keeps on giving to New Orleans with an absolute haul of players and picks, and the usual segments takes us down the road of Thanksgiving and looooooooong meals, decorating too soon for Christmas, ducking the check at restaurants, and so much more.
